Joan's crock pot chicken
Ingredients:
One whole chicken (make sure it will fit in your crock pot), neck/giblets removed
Spray olive oil
Lawry's Seasoning Salt
Cooking spray
Aluminum foil
1. Spray inside of crock pot with cooking spray
2. Wad up pieces of aluminum foil into balls & place in bottom of crock pot -- make sure there are enough so that the chicken sits on top of them, rather than just pushing them aside
3. Drain chicken & pat dry
4. Spray chicken all over with olive oil
5. Sprinkle liberally with Lawry's
6. Cook on high for 4-5 hours (at 4 hours, mine is done & falling off the bone)

What is it made out of?
Well, Dan-my-dear, I'm glad you asked:
we took two display boards - the kind that have three panels - & glued/wired them together to make the body -- it's open on top & bottom. Then we covered it with 1" thick polyester foam (you can get 20' for $20. The eyes are FunFoam, tie & belt are FunFoam covered in felt, add some pipe cleaners for the eyelashes, and a lot of spray paint! I dyed long johns bright yellow to wear underneath, & voila! We had a blast making it!
